Photographing the Osa: Shadows

In recent months, I have become fascinated with photographing shadows. I have been working at getting the shadows into sharp focus while the object itself is either deliberately out of focus or missing completely from the final image.

First up are four examples. Two I left in the original color, and two I thought worked better in monochrome

Reflections are another kind of shadow. Post-processing of these two emphasized contrast and color balance.
